St. Nicholas vaccinates hospital staff
St. Nicholas Hospital held an H1N1 mass vaccine clinic on Oct. 26 for hospital colleagues, medical, allied health and physician office staff.
St. Nicholas received an adequate amount of H1N1 flu vaccine to vaccinate health-care workers. The hospital vaccinated more than 342 colleagues during the four-hour clinic.
All colleagues were encouraged to receive the H1N1 flu vaccine.
The Department of Public Health reports that in general, Wisconsin is experiencing a higher then normal number of people sick with influenza-like illness and testing has shown that H1N1 is the main cause of illness.
The Sheboygan County Division of Public Health will be holding the H1N1 Vaccine Clinics for the public.
Information on H1N1 vaccines and other clinic information can also be found at www.co.sheboygan.wi.us/clinics.htm.
