Nordic Ski Club's fall meeting Nov. 11
The Northern Kettle Moraine Nordic Ski Club's fall membership meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at The Villager, Sheboygan Falls.
Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7.
Ski club members Tom Friedrichs, Jeff Welsch, Gregg Voigt and Eric Eckert, who will discuss their canoe trip into Quetico Provincial Park, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Current and new members are invited to attend. Individuals who wish to attend the dinner are asked to RSVP by Thursday, Nov. 5, to tomlawn@excel.net. For more information, see www.greenbushusa.com.
Social media workshop planned for Nov. 10
The University of Wisconsin-Extension will hold a social media workshop from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The presentation will be given by ZDO, a company that specializes in brand development, advertising and marketing in social media avenues, including Facebook and Twitter. ZDO will discuss the many ways social media can be used.
Cost is $35 per person and includes a continental breakfast. The deadline to register is Friday, Nov. 6.

New Holstein Historical Society awards dinner
The New Holstein Historical Society's annual awards dinner and program will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the New Holstein Community Center.
Dinner will be begin at 6 p.m., followed by a performance by Jessica Michna as Mary Todd Lincoln. The event also will feature presentations of the Historical Society's Pioneer Award and Volunteer Service Awards.

The cost is $10.
Senior table tennis state results announced
Results from the 2009 Wisconsin Senior Olympic table tennis competition follow:
Men's Singles (60+): Dean Loudon, first place; (70+), Richard Burchinal, third place); Men's Doubles (60+) Dean Louden and Michael Seyfer, first place; (65+) John Ball and Jeff Schiff, second place; (70+) Don Davis and Burchinal, second place.
